"Lowfat Muffins"
Ingredients
  ---IN A LARGE BOWL MIX WELL---
1eachbanana, mashed
1/4cupapplesauce, unsweetened
1/4cupmolasses
1/4cupraspberry preserves/jam
1cupsoy/rice milk
1/8cupbrown sugar
1cupraisins
2cupraw bran
  
  ---IN A SMALL BOWL SIFT---
1 1/4cupflour
3teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/4teaspooncinammon

Directions:

Add to dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased muffin tins, bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Notes: original called for 1/4 cup brown sugar. With the raspberry preserves, an 1/8 of a cup is plenty. You could also substitute raspberry with any other flavor of jam/preserve.
